Information
The Ar Sweater is a classic raglan sweater inspired by Norse symbolism. The distinctive motif is based on the Ar rune, which is also knitted in white near the bottom of the body. Worked from the bottom up in four colours, it combines traditional elements with a modern look.
This knitting kit includes yarn for your chosen size and the pattern for the Ar Sweater. The sweater is knitted in the round with raglan shaping and features decorative stranded colourwork across the body and sleeves. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of stranded colourwork.
Perfect for everyday wear, cabin life and outdoor adventures. The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, Danish, Swedish and German.
The sweater shown in the photos is knitted in size L.

Knitting the Ar sweater
The Ar sweater is knitted in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you’ll be working in continuous circles to create a seamless garment. Knitting in the round is an efficient technique that eliminates the need for side seams, giving the jumper a smooth, even finish.
