Furuholmen sweater (pattern)

The Furuholmen Sweater is a beautiful oversized sweater knitted in Hitchhiking in Himalaya, Bæstmor yarn from House of Yarn. It can be worked either from the bottom up or from the top down with raglan shaping and a high neckline. The pattern includes both construction methods and is available in 9 sizes from XXS to 4XL. The sample shown in the photos is size S.

The simple geometric colourwork across the body and sleeves creates a timeless Scandinavian look. FROM BOTTOM UP

Here you start with the body, knit the sleeves and join all the pieces together. Then you knit the raglan with the entire piece on the same needle and finish with the neckline.

Here you start with the neck, knit raglan and divide the work into sleeves and body when the raglan is finished. Then you knit the body first, then the sleeves.
