The Kjevik Sweater is a colourful Nordic raglan sweater inspired by the coastal landscape around Kjevik, just outside Kristiansand in Southern Norway. The colourwork contrasts the blue-green shades of the sea with the warm colours of a sunset, while small touches of copper and orange give the design its distinctive character.
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up with raglan shaping in Hillesvåg Varde and Vidde, two Norwegian wool yarns that create a warm, durable sweater with beautiful texture and character. The colourwork is featured on both the sleeves and the yoke and uses five colours. Only small amounts of copper and orange are needed, making this a perfect opportunity to use leftover yarn and create your own colour combination.
The pattern includes seven sizes from XS to 3XL.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, Danish, Swedish and German.
