The Langenes Sweater is a hand knitted sweater made in two strands of Dale Kidsilk Erle, featuring bold stripes, seed stitch and half length sleeves. The luxurious blend of mohair, silk and wool creates a lightweight, soft and comfortable garment. Every sweater is hand knitted to order.
The Langenes Sweater has a relaxed fit and a timeless style that pairs beautifully with jeans, shorts, skirts or layered over a dress. Knitting the Langenes sweater
The Langenes Sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round up to the armholes, where it is divided again to shape the neckline and shoulders. The sleeves are worked by picking up stitches along the armhole openings and worked in the round. The neckline is completed with a short ribbed collar. This method creates a seamless and comfortable garment with minimal finishing work.
