Information
The Madr Sweater is knitted using one strand of DROPS Kid Silk together with DROPS Flora or DROPS Alpaca and one strand of DROPS Merino Extra Fine. It is worked from the bottom up with raglan shaping. The pattern is available in 6 sizes, and the sample shown is size M. Madr is the name of one of the Norse runes.
The sweater features soft colour transitions and a clean rune inspired motif, creating a light and elegant look. The combination of Kid Silk, Flora or Alpaca, and Merino Extra Fine produces a sweater that is lightweight, warm and exceptionally comfortable to wear. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of raglan construction and colourwork.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.

Knitting the Madr sweater
The Madr sweater is knitted in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you’ll be working in continuous circles to create a seamless garment. Knitting in the round is an efficient technique that eliminates the need for side seams, giving the jumper a smooth, even finish.
