Information
The Manneid Sweater is a beautifully soft and colourful sweater knitted in Viking Alpaca Bris and Viking Alpaca Bris Multi. It is worked from the bottom up with raglan shaping. The pattern is available in 7 sizes, and the sample shown is size M. Manneid is a southern Norwegian dialect word for jellyfish.
The design is inspired by the graceful movement and colours of jellyfish beneath the sea. Flowing colourwork bands and stylised jellyfish motifs create a distinctive maritime look, while Viking Alpaca Bris and Multi produce a lightweight, warm and exceptionally soft sweater. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of raglan construction and colourwork.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.
