The Møvig Sweater is a raglan sweater knitted in Hillesvåg Varde and Vidde. Møvig is an old farm name in Kristiansand, Norway. The sweater is worked from the bottom up in two colours. The pattern is available in 7 sizes, and the sample shown in the photos is size S.
The traditional stranded yoke gives the sweater a timeless Nordic look, while the combination of Norwegian pelt wool and lambswool creates a warm, durable and lightweight garment. The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round with raglan shaping. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of stranded colourwork and raglan construction.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.

The Møvig sweater is knitted from the bottom up. It is worked in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you will work in continuous circles, creating a seamless garment. This method eliminates the need for side seams and gives the sweater a smooth, even finish.
This version begins with the body, followed by the sleeves. All pieces are then joined together, and the raglan yoke is worked. The sweater is finished with the neckline.
