Perthro sweater

The Perthro sweater is knitted in Rauma VAMS. It is worked with raglan shaping and features five colours in the pattern. Perthro is the name of one of the old Norse runes. The sweater shown in the photos is size M. The pattern includes seven sizes.

NOTE: Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.

Knitting the Perthro sweater

The Perthro sweater is knitted in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you’ll be working in continuous circles to create a seamless garment. Knitting in the round is an efficient technique that eliminates the need for side seams, giving the jumper a smooth, even finish.
