Information
The Straw Sweater, light version, is knitted in DROPS Kid-Silk, DROPS Flora and one strand of DROPS Merino Extra Fine. It is worked from the bottom up with raglan shaping and decorative cable details along the raglan decreases. The straw motif around the body is worked over 28 rounds, while the remainder of the sweater is mainly worked in stocking stitch. The pattern is available in six sizes from XS to XXL, and the model shown in the images is wearing size M.
Inspired by straw swaying in the wind, the Straw Sweater has a calm and elegant appearance. The light base colour highlights the decorative border, creating a timeless Nordic look. The blend of DROPS Flora, DROPS Kid-Silk and DROPS Merino Extra Fine creates a soft, lightweight and warm sweater that is equally suited for everyday wear, cool summer evenings and autumn days. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of cables, raglan construction and colourwork.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, Danish, German, Swedish and English.
