Information
The Svartholm Sweater is a beautiful oversized raglan sweater knitted in Hitchhiking in Himalaya, Bæstmor yarn from House of Yarn. It can be knitted either bottom up or top down, and the pattern includes instructions for both methods. The pattern includes nine sizes from XXS to 4XL, and the model shown in the picture is wearing size S.
The Svartholm Sweater combines a modern oversized fit with a timeless two colour pattern across the body and sleeves. The soft wool yarn creates a warm, durable and comfortable garment, while the raglan construction ensures an excellent fit. Choose whether you prefer knitting from the bottom up or the top down. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of stocking stitch, colourwork and raglan shaping.
The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.

FROM BOTTOM UP
Here you start with the body, knit the sleeves and join all the pieces together. Then you knit the raglan with the entire piece on the same needle and finish with the neckline.
FROM TOP TO DOWN
Here you start with the neck, knit raglan and divide the work into sleeves and body when the raglan is finished. Then you knit the body first, then the sleeves.
