Topdals sweater (hand knitted)

The Topdals Sweater is a hand knitted raglan sweater made in Viking Wool featuring classic Nordic colourwork worked in six colours. The harmonious colour palette and traditional motifs create a timeless Scandinavian look.

Each sweater is hand knitted to order. Viking Wool is a soft and durable Highland merino wool yarn that provides warmth, comfort and long lasting wear. The raglan construction offers excellent freedom of movement and a natural fit, while the coordinated colourwork on the body, sleeves and yoke creates a balanced and elegant appearance.

NOTE: Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size

Knitting the Topdals sweater

The Topdals sweater is knitted in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you’ll be working in continuous circles to create a seamless garment. Knitting in the round is an efficient technique that eliminates the need for side seams, giving the jumper a smooth, even finish.
