Information

The Torsø Sweater is a beautiful raglan sweater knitted in Viking Wool. It is worked from the bottom up with a high neckline finished with a decorative I-cord edge. The pattern is available in seven sizes, and the sweater shown in the photos is knitted in size M.

The Torsø Sweater features a striking Nordic colourwork pattern flowing seamlessly across the body, sleeves and yoke, creating an elegant and timeless Scandinavian design. The high neck with its I-cord finish adds both warmth and a refined appearance. Viking Wool is a soft and durable Highland merino wool yarn that provides warmth, comfort and long lasting wear.

The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.

Knitting the Torsø sweater

The Torsø sweater is knitted from the bottom up with raglan decreases. This method involves starting at the hem of the body and sleeves and joining them together to work the yoke seamlessly in the round. This approach minimises finishing work and creates a smooth, cohesive garment.
