Information

The Trollholmen Sweater is a beautifully soft raglan sweater knitted from the bottom up in Viking Alpaca Bris. The striking stranded colourwork yoke is inspired by traditional Nordic motifs, creating a timeless and elegant design. The sweater shown in the photos is knitted in size XS, and the pattern is available in seven sizes.

The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round with raglan shaping. Viking Alpaca Bris creates a lightweight, warm and wonderfully soft fabric with an airy feel. The yoke features two contrasting pattern colours that give the sweater its distinctive character. The sweater is equally suited for everyday wear, weekend outings and cooler days throughout much of the year. The pattern is suitable for knitters with some experience of stranded colourwork and raglan construction.

The pattern is available in Norwegian, English, German, Danish and Swedish.

BOTTOM-UP VERSION

This version begins with the body, followed by the sleeves. All pieces are then joined together, and the raglan yoke is worked. The sweater is finished with the neckline.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up with raglan decreases. This method involves starting at the hem of the body and sleeves and joining them together to work the yoke seamlessly in the round. This approach minimises finishing work and creates a smooth, cohesive garment.
