Ur sweater (pattern)

The Ur Sweater is a beautiful and colourful sweater knitted with two strands held together in Du Store Alpakka Sterk and DROPS Kid-Silk. It is worked from the bottom up with a circular yoke and detailed colourwork in six shades. The pattern is available in sizes XS to XXL, and the sweater shown in the pictures is size M.

The patterned yoke and decorative colourwork bands on the body and sleeves give the Ur Sweater a rich and timeless Nordic look. The combination of alpaca, merino wool, nylon, mohair and silk creates a soft, warm and durable garment with a light, delicate halo. It is ideal for autumn walks, weekends at the cabin and cold days in the city. The pattern is suitable for knitters with experience of stranded colourwork and circular yoke construction.
